SAHARA SANDABELL possesses a pedigree of a "who's who" in breeding. Her sire GREY SANDPIPER, an impressive 15.3 1/2 hand was a multi-champion in English Pl, driving and Informal Combination. Later in lifer pursuing and showing 1st Level Dressage. WhenGrey Sandpiper stepped out of his stall, he left you speechless, even as an aged stallion. Imagine the names of Frank McCoy, Jimmy Dean, Daniel Gainey and Tom Chauncey in the first generation of his pedigree and THAT is GREY SANDPIPER!!

Her dam Abl-Al-Bella is double-bred McCoys Count and sired by Halter Champion Park Avenue Sting, one of the most magnificent sons of McCoys Count. Balanna, Stings dam was a halter winning mare with excellent motion. She is sired by the pure Polish stallion *Bataann who was the Swedish Champion Stallion and a Champion in the US as well. His sire Banat was one of the greatest sires in Poland with his dam Bandola (considered to be the "Queen of Poland) to be a full sister to *Bask.

Sahara Sandabell is best enjoyed as a Trail horse for Aaron. This mare has carried him countless miles down the trail from the sand dunes in Idaho to remote mountain lakes in the Sawtooths. This mare is reliable day in and day out. Extremely laid-back and always guarantedd an enjoyable ride. In 2019 Sandabell went into training to prepare for the 2020 show season in Western Dressage. Unfortunately covid happened and changed plans drastically. Despite the fact, Sandabell was solid and ready to compete at SH Nationals in 2020. 

In 2023 Sandabell produced a lovely colt by TWS McDreamy.
