2006 Grey Mare

The result of crossing our foundation mare to our foundation stallion – Persephone is the ideal blend of both parents. Incredibly sweet, athletic with a wonderful willing demeanor.

Persephone was the first foal from our breeding program to earn a National title – 2006 US National SH Top Ten 2yr old Jackpot Filly. Persephone became a favored riding horse on the trail. She was bold and would go anywhere asked. She has been ridden out in the deep back country of Idaho, as well as deserts of Idaho. Regardless of crossing deep streams or running across sand dunes, Persephone was always enjoyable for anyone who rode her.

Persephone is currently on a long term lease to a young 14yr old who is doing Jumping and Eventing with her. Persephone at 16, started a jumping career. She is bold and anxious to start bigger jumps.
